Mal Dean, 1941-1974: An Exhibition of Cartoons, Illustrations, Drawings & Paintings - Exhibition Poster

Mal Dean was known for his drawings for the underground press and poetry and music scenes in the 1960s and jazz illustrations for Melody Maker in the early-mid 1970s. This Bluecoat exhibition showed the full breadth of this Widnes-born, Liverpool Art School-trained artist's practice. This poster was produced for the exhibition's subsequent tour, hence the blank space for venues to overprint their details.
